Our atelier

Every piece sold on this site is made by hand in our atelier in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı), Türkiye, where Joy has worked since 1999.

Orders delivered in Türkiye are sold by a separate business, Joy Pırlanta, at joypirlanta.com, under its own terms and Turkish law.

Standards we follow

the US Federal Trade Commission Guides for the Jewelry, Precious Metals, and Pewter Industries (16 CFR Part 23), including the disclosure of lab-grown diamonds;
gold fineness marks (585 for 14K, 750 for 18K) and country-of-origin marking on every piece;
payments by card and bank transfer only; we do not accept cash.

Authenticity

Every piece ships with a Joy certificate issued by our atelier. Where a piece comes with an independent grading report (HRD, GIA or IGI), its report number is shown on the product page and on the certificate, and you can check it on the laboratory's own website.

Duties and taxes

For orders to the United States, import duties are calculated and collected at checkout, and we pay them to customs for you, so nothing should be due on delivery. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. If a courier asks you to pay import charges, contact us before paying.

Resolving concerns

Please write to support@joydiamondjewelry.com before starting any formal proceeding; most concerns are resolved within two to three business days. You keep any rights you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.
