Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Guild 79 LLC, trading as Joy Diamond Jewelry (registered in Wyoming, United States, registered office 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit joydiamondjewelry.com or buy from us. Guild 79 LLC is responsible for your personal information. Contact: support@joydiamondjewelry.com; privacy matters: support@joydiamondjewelry.com.

What we collect

Order information: your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order details, needed to prepare and deliver your piece.
Payment information: processed directly by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only the card brand, the last four digits and the result of the payment.
Browser and device information: browser type, operating system, language, IP address and the pages you visit, collected automatically.
Messages: the content of emails and contact forms you send us.
Reviews: if you leave a review, your name (as you choose to show it), the review and any photos.

How we use it

to prepare, ship and deliver your order and keep you informed about it;
to answer your messages and provide after-sales service, warranty and repairs;
to check high-value orders for fraud;
to understand how the site is used and improve it;
to send marketing emails, only if you sign up (you can unsubscribe in any email);
to meet our legal obligations under tax, customs, consumer and accounting law.

We do not sell your personal information. When our advertising is active, limited event data is shared with advertising partners as described below, and you can opt out at any time.

Who receives your information

Shopify, which runs our store, checkout and order emails, as described in Shopify's Privacy Policy;
Shopify Payments and its card processors, for payment and fraud prevention;
our atelier in Istanbul, Türkiye, which prepares and packs your piece and receives your name, delivery address, phone number and order details to do so;
Shipentegra and the courier (such as DHL Express, FedEx or UPS), which receive your name, delivery address, phone number and the customs details of the shipment;
customs authorities, which receive the shipment's customs declaration;
Google, which hosts our email (Google Workspace) and, when our advertising is active, provides advertising and measurement (Google Ads, Merchant Center);
Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Pinterest, when our advertising on those platforms is active, for ad measurement and targeting;
Judge.me, which collects and displays product reviews and sends review requests after delivery;
tax and accounting advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies in three groups: necessary (cart, checkout, security; always on), analytics (how visitors use the site) and marketing (measuring and targeting our advertising). When our advertising is active, the site shares event data with Google, Meta and Pinterest: pages and products viewed, items added to the cart, checkout steps and purchases. At checkout this can include your email, phone and address in hashed (coded) form, which the platform uses to match events to its own accounts. We also keep advertising click identifiers (such as Google's "gclid") with your order to measure which advertisement led to it.

You can opt out of this sharing at any time through the "Your privacy choices" link in the footer or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor automatically. Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Declining analytics or marketing cookies does not affect browsing or ordering.

International transfers

Guild 79 LLC is established in the United States. Your information is held on Shopify's platform and is sent to Türkiye, where our atelier prepares and ships your order, and to the countries where our service providers operate, including the United States and Canada (Shopify). We share only what each recipient needs and rely on the contractual and security protections of these established providers.

How long we keep it

order and invoice records: as required by tax and customs law, usually 7 years;
fraud-check outcomes: up to 5 years (identity images are deleted as soon as the check is complete);
after-sales records: while you own the piece, unless you ask us to delete them;
marketing email list: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, and opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising. US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act do not currently apply to us because we are below their size thresholds, but we honor these requests in every state as a matter of practice and do not treat you differently for making them.

If you live outside the United States, you may have further rights under your local law, and we will honor them.

To make a request, email support@joydiamondjewelry.com with the subject "Data request". We verify your identity before acting and reply within the time your law requires, or otherwise within 30 days.

Children

Our site and pieces are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

All data travels over encrypted connections, and payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors; card details never reach our own systems. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or in how we work. Changes are shown by a new "Last updated" date.
